Registration and User Login Information

How can I register in Fixiones?

You can register for free in Fixiones, absolutely free. Go to the registration page and enter the username that you would like along with your email address. Click register and an email will be sent to you with a password for you to access your new account in Fixiones.

How do I login after I receive my password?

Go to the Login page and enter your Username and Password. Click on Login and you will be directed to your account.

Can I change my password after I login?

Yes, go to My Dashboard and click on My Profile. You can change your password by entering it twice on the bottom of the page and then by clicking Update Profile.

How do I create a Profile?

Go to My Dashboard and click on My Profile. You can enter all of your profile information, change your password, and even submit a user photo.

What if I forget my password?

Go to the Lost Password page and enter your Username or Email address. Click on Get New Password and a new password will be sent to the email address that you used when you first registered with Fixiones.

Posting an Ad

How do I post an ad in Fixiones?

After you have created an account and have logged in, click on the Post a Classified button to post your ad. You must fill out all of the sections with the * symbol. When you have completed all of the information click Submit Ad and it will appear shortly in the site.

How much does it cost to post an ad in Fixiones?

It is absolutely free to post ads in Fixiones. Therefore there is no cost to you.

How do I place an image in my ad?

After you click on Post a Classified and fill out the details for your ad, click on browse under Add images. You can browse your computer for the image you wish to add to your ad. Click open and the image will be uploaded onto your ad. Don’t forget to click Submit Ad so that your ad will appear in the site.

What phone number should I post when I submit my ad?

You do not have to leave your phone number, but if you choose to, it is best to use a cell phone number instead of a direct home phone number which could be traced to your home address. Keep things as confidential as possible.

What if I do not want to leave any personal contact information in my ad?

It is not required to leave your contact information in the ad. When people read your ad, there will be a contact ad owner form in the right sidebar where they can write to you. The email will be sent to the email address that you used when you registered for your account.

How should I select a category to place my ad?

Click on the drop down menu under Choose a Category and find the section that best fits your ad. If you cannot find one that applies directly to your ad, you can submit it in the correct section under “other”. Example: under Housing/Real Estate click on “other – housing”

Why do I have to select a county and city?

By selecting a county and city, buyers will be more likely to contact you knowing your location. It enables people to search for items in their local area.

What if my city does not appear when I try to post an ad?

Look at on the bottom of the drop down menu under city, click on other to replace your city name. With so many cities and unincorporated areas, it was impossible to list every single city from every county. If you still want the city to show up with your ad, you can always leave it in the description or title of the ad.

How long will my ad run on Fixiones?

Your ad will run for 30 days and then will be automatically deleted.

Why was my ad removed?

If your ad was removed from our site, chances are it has violated our terms of use or has been flagged by our site guests, reviewed and deleted by our staff.

Searching for ads

How do I search for ads in a specific city or county?

You can type the name of the city or the county in the Search Classifieds box on the front page and find all of the ads posted in that particular area.

How do I reply to an ad?

If the owner of the ad posted their email or telephone number, you can contact them directly. If none of their contact information is displayed, you can fill out the Contact Ad Owner form located in the right sidebar directly across from their ad and an email will be delivered to them.

What if I do not receive a response after I have filled out the Contact Ad Owner form?

SInce an email is sent directly to the person who posted the ad, it is up to them whether or not they reply to the emails that have been sent to them. You can try calling or emailing them directly if they have left a phone number or personal email address on their ad.

Are ads on Fixiones screened and approved before they are published?

No, with many ads being posted on the site, it is impossible to check all of them and approve them before they are published. If you feel an ad is inappropriate, you can report the ad by clicking the report button located on the top right of the right sidebar to notify us. Contact ad owners at your own risk.

How can I save an ad that I want to see again?

On the bottom of the ad above the map there are links for you to email the post or print the post to read it at a later date or time.

Does Fixiones offer any warranty or guarantee of the products or services offered on its site?

Managing my Account

Can I manage my ads?

Yes, click on My Dashboard and a list of the ads that you have posted will appear. You have the option to edit your ad by clicking on the pencil. You can pause your ad by clicking on the pause button and your ad will go offline. If you want to run the ad again after you have paused it, simply press the play button and it will go live again.

Can I renew my ad after it expires?

After your ad expires, if you need to run it again, you can post a new ad with the same item or service being offered. There is no renew function.

How do I make my profile?

Go to My Dashboard and then to My Profile where you can set up your account profile. After you have filled out the information that you would like to put in your profile, don’t forget to click on Update Profile to save it.
